Welcome to ACCESS Miami!
Standing for Assets, Capital, Community,
Education, Savings and Success, ACCESS Miami is
the next phase of the Mayor's Anti Poverty
Initiative launched in 2001. The initiative
unites City resources with similar resources
available in the public, private, and non-profit
sectors, to offer tools and education that
enable City residents to improve their quality
of life.
ACCESS Miami's foundation is made up of four
cornerstones:
- Access to existing benefits
- Access to capital
- Building wealth and accumulating assets, and
- Improving financial literacy.
These four cornerstones are the guiding
premise to assist both city residents and small
business entrepreneurs within the City.
