City of Miami Solid Waste Department will be CLOSED in observance of the Christmas Day Holiday.
 
There will be NO GARBAGE, BULKY TRASH OR RECYCLE PICK-UP on MONDAY, DECEMBER 25th, 2017

(Miami, FL Month Day, Year) -

In observance of the Christmas Day holiday, City of Miami residents are advised there will be NO GARBAGE, BULKY TRASH OR RECYCLE PICK-UP on MONDAY, DECEMBER 25th, 2017. The Solid Waste Department will be closed and will resume normal operations on Tuesday, December 26th, 2017.  City of Miami residents should hold their garbage / bulky trash / recycling until the next scheduled pick-up day.
Residents whose RECYCLE PICK-UP day falls on Monday, December 25th, 2017, are being provided with an alternate recycle pick up on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 27th, 2017.
Normal service shall resume on Tuesday, December 26th, 2017, and residents are reminded to:

  • Place garbage, recycle carts and bulky trash out in front of their home on the public right of way and away from phones/cable/electricity lines, under trees, utility poles, fire hydrants, fences, vehicles and/or 5 feet away from any structure.
 
The City‘s Mini Dump will also be closed on MONDAY, DECEMBER 25th, 2017.
