Groundbreaking Ceremony for the First
Permanent Public Restroom in Downtown

(Miami, FL October 31, 2017) - Mayor Tomas Regalado and Commissioner Ken Russell will join the Miami Downtown Development Authority (Miami DDA) and the City of Miami Office of Capital Improvements to break ground for the Miami DDA Downtown Permanent Restroom project. The Downtown Miami Pit Stop will be the first public restroom in the area and will be equipped with a toilet, a sink, and safe needle disposal. Once installed it will be open seven days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. with an attendant on site.
