Wagner Creek and Seybold Canal Restoration Project

(Miami, FL July 27, 2017) - Join Commissioner Wifredo "Willy" Gort, Commission Chairman Keon Hardemon, the Office of Capital Improvements and other elected officials for the groundbreaking of this $18.4 million dollar project which includes the removal of accumulated sediments, storm water capacity enhancement and vessel navigation improvement.

The work will take place from N.W. 20 Street to the Miami River and should be completed by the Fall of 2018. Design-Build Services provided by Sevenson Environmental Services Inc. The City of Miami, the Florida Inland Navigation District, and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection funded the project which consists of six operation sections.
